that's my next project....we'll see how far my extra tax return cash takes me once i pay off my car loan, cuz after i unlock i'll be picking up some pc2700....this mocron stuff has done me good, but i've got a feeling that it's done at 148....had to take the voltage all the way to 3.0v to get it there, and on the warmer days it won't even run at 147, no matter what i try

A floor fan, ceiling fan on high and the AC cranked down to 60f will do wonders ;)

Micron is vmem hungry, grab a stick of sammy PC2700. It's cheaper and I did 185Mhz FSB on just 2.6vmem. Top notch stuff that OCs very well. :)

Yea Samsung rocks! Mine is doing 200MHz/400DDR and thats with normal settings @Cas2. I think If I back off teh RAM a little I could get a little more out of this baby.

To stay on topic here, I'm gettin a MSI GF4 Ti4400 once My Xbox deal goes through, which is MOnday. So I should have it by teh end of next week :D

Cool beans, I love the MSI GF4's quite a bit. On that note I will say Ga' Night and you guys will hopefully see something above 12K tomorrow ;)

Yeah, well, you can check my sig now thebove. I can't quite get up to your score, my card just won't get that extra 5mhz core that I need to get up to 9400+. Just wait till I unlock and unleash the FSB this board has saved up for me:p

Then we will see who has the fastest Ti500/XP setup here :)

Here's my 8004 3dmark with 3dmark2001 First Edition that has everything overclocked.

Here's my 7891 3dmark with 3dmark2001SE score with everything tweaked and everything OC'ed except the CPU and motherboard. Also this result has newer VIA drivers than the 8004 result.

Everything at default I get 7049

My laptop gets 1730 3dmarks. I can probably break 2000 3dmarks if I overclocked my video card but I'm not going to risk hardware failure on a laptop especially since laptops are prone to heat build up.

There's no cure for this sickness either :D. BTW great marks. What OC did you hit on that 4600? With less clockspeed and a lower FSB you really did quite the job to get past KJY9's mark. Of course if he were able to re-run that with 28.80's or 28.90's he'd almost curely be near to 13K. Too bad for him the mobo died

It took a little tweaking on both ends. You wouldnt believe how many times I hit 12514-520. I was screaming bloody murder. I got a MSITI4600 after getting rid of the vision tek(sorry jokers never did send me my cable.) Its a heck of a card. I got it to 335/745. But what put me over the top was raising the FSB to 135 and unlocking the agp slot and setting it to 2/4 ratio(running the agp slot at 67.50) Guess it doesnt sound like much but it put me over the top. As for the drivers thing I dont think it made that much of a difference. Definetly not 300-400 points. Ive tested with both and I havent gotten that much a difference in score. maybe 40points+ or- when trying both out. With my earlier scores I never pushed my vid card that hard. I do have to say that the MSITI4600 seems to be a heck of a card. And Ive also gotten away from GTU and powerstrip. All I used was coolbits and it worked like a dream.

As always we know that FSB raising can yield major gains. You had a nice little boost just moving it up 2. Have you tried the 28.90's? Those are the ones which many MadOnioner's say gave them the 300-400 point gains over 28.32. Also can you OC the cpu/FSB anymore?

at 135+ im getting booted to desktop. I may go back in and take another swing at it. But for now pushing kyj9 and mystif is enough for me :D Ill go harder once those guys take it up another notch.
