So are you trying for a few extra points more? So what is the vcore at 271FSB?
I have the Vcore at 1.675 271 is looking like thats it for this processor until I put the 226W pelt on. If I could get my memory to cooperate I would get a better score too. I have it at 2,8,3,3 and that's the best timings it can do. Hopefully the OCZ PC4000 is a little better.
I dont think it would be able to do tighter settings... So the system wont boot at 275? :)

I have booted at 275, but it won't run a bench without locking up.

was this a bad run or has your cpu begin to act up?
also like I said several times, run it more than once, make sure to reboot each time. You could be at 22.5k if your car chase high details was above 113 like it should have been.......

Don't install DX9 - take tbird's advice (can't believe I just said that :)) and run both Car Chases as many times as you want, until your score goes up. Unlike the other tests, Car Chase does not go down if you run it multiple times; in fact, it will often go up!

its always gone down for me. If that happens, just reboot and run all the tests ONCE and if you score higher, save or submit it. I dont know if Ranger is listening or not but were trying to help him. as you can see, his car chase was 6fps higher at 270fsb than 272 so......

I listen to everybody, but I also have my own tricks as well. I have said it before and I will say it again. The order you run the tests in is crucial. I run the car tests last and I do that for a reason. I gain 10-15 FPS in the other games. That is why my car score looks low. My best scores are the proof guys, car L and H were run last. When i run car first the other games suffer. It's a trade off. I will never turn down advice and you can trust me that will try it if it makes sense.Quote:

I`m, going to go ahead and get the 8rda+, SLK-800U a good loud tornado fan, and some AS ceramic. I`m getting the SLK-800U, so that I can also use it on my Intel cpu.;)Quote:

arent ram prices at their peak then? I would need both better ram and a v mod to the ti4200 to break 15k, it is that hard! as for ranger, I knew he knows his way around 3dmark, I however was baffled why his car chase score suffered more at 272fsb than 270, did he run car chase first when he was at 270? Yes I have done that. Once in a blue moon I can get car to go higher when I re run it. I posted this before, but here goes again. Open your task manager after each game you run. You will see 3DMark2001.exe grow and grow in your task manager. That is why the first test it runs the score is good. If you run anything but nature first you will see an increase in the fps on that game test. The order I am using now seems to work best for me.
Well, T-Bird, when I got my 14370 score, I was only at 170fsb(2.2ghz) on my cpu and was not running my memory at good timings, the video card memory was only at 621. So if I can get my fsb upto 210 or better and my memory at more agressive settings. The video card clocked at 306/645, I might get real close.:D Edit: to add no matter how high I end up it will be done without a V Mod.
