Well if you were already at 3:2 I dont think the FSB can go higher.. If it cannot handle those speeds with a seriously relaxed memory speed (3:2 over 5:4) then I dont believe there is much left in that girl :(
You might want to disable any memory performance features if any :)
Probably won't be able to higher at all :( but your memory will be running a LOT faster, which should give you lots of points.Quote:

Well at 5:4 at my old OC settings my computer would not boot it would give a keyboard error, so I guess I'm stuck at this, going to cas 2.5 would slow down my comp probably more then help it if I got a few more fsb mhz
CL 2.5 @ 5:4 is better then CL2 at 3:2 :)

It wont help in RAW processor speed... Since if 3:2 wont allow you to increase the FSB, then 5:4 wont either :D
But you will score higher since the memory bandwidth is just that much wider :)

Wow was writing a message about how I had it at 2.5-3-3-6 and 264 fsb then it crashed! Wouldn't be stable until 260 mhz, good thing is the core stayed at 1.5, didn't need to raise that at all. So I have the 5:4 timings, now I just need to run 01 again (right now) and I'll post my results!

Alright back, wouldn't let me run 3dmark until I was at 256 fsb! I used my OC core from before and I only got in the high 19K region, so maybe I was better off at 3:2 262 CL2-2-2-5?Quote:

No wonder you haven't been able to go higher! Crank it up to the highest you've got (although I wouldn't recommend much more than 2.9v, if you can go higher). Macci has been running his HyperX at 3.6v for months. :D

And while you're at it, raise your vcore - I wouldn't go above 1.7v (and for that matter, 1.65) if you're worried about SNDS (which you should be), but I had no idea you were doing this on stock voltage. :eek:
Come on, crank up vdimm to 2.9v and set vcore to 1.55 or 1.6v and watch it soar! I knew there was something awry! :D
