I love sniping too. If there was a sniper game, I'd get it in a heartbeat. What I hate in FPS games is the jumping and constant shooting. Snipers are cool. Keep your distance, have patience and enjoy the game from safety. https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/5.gif

Have you played in Infiltration mod for UT? It's basically a "reality" mod (real guns, real damage, etc). I love to snipe too, and Infiltration has a lot of med to large maps that are great for snipping and tactics. You can find the mod at www.planetunreal.com/infiltationQuote:

Delta Force: Land Warrior has tons of sniping missions. Be forewarned, however, the missions are hard as hell.

Operation Flashpoint is kinda based on it. You do most of your firing using the sights on the weapon although its not always a sniper scope.
I loved that OICW in Delta Force Land Warrior! Especially with the scope just a mouse click away. Can't think of any game quite THAT convenient. Other games with sniping include:

I too am a dirty rotten sniper. I get everyone mad at me at LAN's when we play CS...cause I go for a sniper rifle, then proceed to find a nice concealed area.

In Ghost Recon, you can play the sniper exclusively and just direct the other squads to back you up. You might find it an interesting twist on sniper gameplay. I love playing sniper in Ghost Recon.

silent scope, i think its out for ps2. you can also just go to an arcade and they have it there, and its alot better at the arcade because theres an actual rifle and scope you can look through.
