It took me about 2 weeks, luckily I was unemployed at the time. Theres a lot of things I would've done differently (ie, notice the shiny paint... hey it was free). But I had fun doing it...

nice build! so what exactly can you play with it? paratrooper? lol:D
-
theres always pinball, and solitaire;)
-
-
nice. hehe, i had to carry a 500lb arcade cabinet down three flights of stairs once! that wasn't cool! I hope this one is a little lighter.;)
-
And i thought my joystick was cool.
Someone ALWAYS has to one up you. :)
Looks great man.

you should put some sort of decoration on the side like your favorite arcade game character. For me it would be Pacman
-
-
you should also put a title for it at the frunt, and you should paint/sticker for every game you have on it. hehe i know it will take a lot of space.
-
That looks pretty awesome! :)
-
Thanks all! Yeah I know I should decorate it but well... turns out thats pretty expensive. ;) I've looked into having some things printed up for the sides, but it ends up being a couple of hundred dollars... unless you guys have any ideas? (Please don't say draw it yourself, because I have no talent for that :)).
You're right about the marquee though, i need to do something behind it... i even installed that black light to light up whatever sign i put there.

Dude, try look up old MAME emulators and ROMs, i used to have a gazillion of them, but then i stopped cuz i got sick of it... but you could play Street fighter vs. x-men, and super hyper fighting games such as that, like all arcade games you play today, you could find at their website and download the ROM and play. Only thing tough, they shut down now cuz they ran out of money, so finding the emulator and ROMs can be hard. I would also recommened KAWAKS, they also have tight ROMs. And before everyone starts yellin at me that its an AUP violation, those ROMS and the emulatros were described as FREEWARE by the websites they were offered from, the ROMS were legally purchased by the website owner, and then freely distributed by a lisence. So yeah :)
-
I gotta admit dude, that is friggin cool :D
-
nice work on that thing, have fun with it
-
you know..if you wanted to put some graphics or designs on the side you could just tape off the sides to the way you want it and paint it yourself:) that'd be cool. or, you could spray paint it  you'd just have to mask everything off.
in the end, itd be awesome with a little effort and patience
BTW: awesome job on the system i take it you got the actual housing from an old arcade?
