Just wanted to start a thread of a list of games that were supposed to come out, or should have come out but never did. One of the biggest disappointments for me was when FreeSpace 3 was cancelled...a great game and story line that had some great possabilities and it never got finished :(
Simsville. I was kinda mad that it never came out. That game actually looked fun.
I wanted that game to come out too. But it looks like Duke Nukem Forever isn't coming out for a long long time if ever! I've never like DN so it doesn't hurt me at all;)Quote:

I am still waiting for Fallout III, Tactics just didn't do it for me.
Also Jagged Alliance 3. Sir-Tech sold the rights to another company who have started development on the game with all the original software people :) But it will probably never happen.
How about Team Fortress 2.... that game has gone to shiat. Lol in PCGamer's most regretted statements in their 2002 issue: "Team Fortress 2 looks to be the most promising game of 2000." HAHAHAHAHAHA that is so damn funny I passed a kindey stone.
The reason a Fallout III hasn't been made is a mystery. How can you make something so great and then stop altogether?
Team Fortress 2, i've given up on that :(

Freespace 3 never got finished!?!? Say it aint so charlie!! nooooooo.
Anyway another space title that got 70% done but never released is Babylon5 by Sierra. I even got the game trailer and it looked right up there with Freespace 2 at the time. Man what a huge letdown. I'm still crossing my fingers that one of the 2 will be gracing our PC screens in 2003/04.
Yes for Freespace 3 the story line had already been written but the company lost alot of its programmer and decided to not put the game out, and won't give the rights to anyone else to release the game =/
Remember back when UT and Quake 3 were coming out.. wasnt there a game called Preditor or something like that.. was suppose to be the "next step in gaming" was suppose to blow everyones socks off and then .. gone.
No, I dont mean the Preditor/alien games that have came out.
