Who acutally mods this forum?

Supposedly the "official" mods are cranch and maxout, but if you look at their profiles, cranch isnt active at all, and maxout is active in forums other than this one. It seems the repsonibility to pick oup the slack has fallen to wurm, with some help from muisjet here and there. has the charge of watching this forum changed and the website has simply not been updated to reflect this? ive acttually been posting here for a long time now and i can hoonestly say i cannot remember carnch or maxout EVER modding these forums. Any of you mods care to shed some light onto the question? :)

not that i'd want to :p i dont act very mod-like anyways except when i'm b****ing at alientank for calling people who dont know every detail about doom a moron ;)

I don't post all that often but I do read posts frequently and lock/delete when I must. I believe in keeping the reins loose but in hand.

I've read cranch's profile: It's been two weeks since he last posted in these Sharky Forums.

punkrawk you have some serious learning to do kiddo.

Participation is not a requirement of Moderating in these Forums.

While Cranch doesnt post here often, he is around. And I know that Maxout just hangs out and reads stuff all the time. I have PMed these guys a few times before and they are usually pretty swift to respond, even though you dont see them very much.

most mods prefer to be ghosts in the machine.. cat is around also.. (fear his ban stick) it is understandable why they prefer I seen some forums where the mods particiapate and how some peeps are idiots....

I do visit the forums alot more than what my profile says. I work in three different places, and prefer to not login and have to clear the cookies when I leave unless there is something that needs to be taken care of. I do surf the forums, I just do so while not logged in.

How do you become a mod here anyways?

I got invited on board about a year? ago by Housen when he was here. You usually get asked to Mod by an admin or other mods when there is an oppening.

Plus you got to be 18 years old, and junk like that too :)
