From the articles about the new Sony PSP handheld gaming system, it says the screen will be 480x272, and the Gameboy Advance SP screen is 240 x 160.

Looks nice, but it sorta takes away from the portable aspect of things. :)

The only way I see it working out is if it folds up like the GBA SP (screen on one side, controls on other).
Yeah but even folded in half its gonna be the size of an original gameboy, then you flip it out its looking like it's gonna be the size of a portable dvd player almost.
It probably will play DVDs. Don't be surprised, the screen's ratio is 16:9. That screams out DVD support. Yeah, that won't fit in my pocket. Hopefully they'll make it compatible with all the PSOne games.Quote:

It's gonna use mini optical discs similar in size to GameCube discs so I don't think either will work... :(Quote:

Well yeah they'll probably have mini disc versions of some DVDs and games, but regular ones from one's existing DVD or game collection probably aren't gonna work by default...Quote:
