How are there even enough pci slots for all those raid cards.
Nice.
That is insane.. I wonder what kind of power supply it would take to run all those.
How heavy is that???
EDIT: And if one of the HDDs dies, imagine having to check them all to see which one it is.
I think it may be an enermax 550watt.Quote:

So 25x120GB = 3000GB = 3TB
Damn that's some storage.
A 3TB porn server. Now that would be kickass!!!!!!!!!! :D
I would like to see more pics of the mobo and CPU. I wonder where the other 2 drvies are, I can only count 23:confused:
I'll bet that thing weighs 100 pounds:eek:
my question is as follows:
Why would someone with that much money to waste, not simply buy a case that could really hold all of those drives, and provide better airflow.
That is sick!!!!
I wouldnt use that many IDE drives...
However I also dont count 25 drives :( Maybe he has 3 hidden somewhere else?
I only count 22 or 23 drives. But still, that's insane.
That would be hell to defrag wouldn't it ? :D
I just picked up a Diamond Max 9 120GB myself, let's see how this baby performs then we can talk about adding more... just not that much more.
A very good question...I don't see how those fan can even aqueeze air between the hard drives. They are basically stacked on top of each other in that case, lol.Quote:

that is retarded, who the heck needs 2.6 Terrabytes o space for a home system (if it weren't a home system, then I'd think it would at least be running scsi drives, and maybe be in a more respectable case. Or would just be a NAS rahter than a mess of ide hard drives.).
