Max Payne 2

gonna be good?, othing beats Mafia...greatest game period. currently playing madden 2k4, nba live 2k3, tony hawk 4,nascar thunder 2004, rise of nations. anyone know if there is gonna be a gangsters 3 or mafia 2

I have heard rumors of a Mafia 2, but right now they are still in hard development of Hidden & Dangerous 2 so I doubt you will see anything before 2005 or much less hear of a new developement until either H&D2 is released or 2004.

Agreed, Mafia was easily best game ever. However, its only flaw was short view distance.

Can't really compare Mafia w/ Max Payne 2 given they are two totally different types of games.

mafia should have had 500 levels...too short imo

Haven't heard of Mafia 2, but Max Payne 2 is coming for sure. And I personally think MP is going to be much much better than Mafia 2.. if it comes out.

Max Payne 2 is out later this week. I've got mine pre-ordered and i'm stoked!:D

Sorry I only deal with retail items :)

For some reason I'm not too excited about this game...
I mean, I loved the first one, and this sequel looks great... But it's just kinda been "released" without any wind, ya know?
I know next to nothing about this game - except it's DX9 and uses the Havok physics engine (like HL2). I guess I'm just looking forward to Deus Ex 2 and Half-Life 2 more than this...and since I can't spend gobs of cash on games, I have to pick and choose..
