I gotta get a decent PSU.
I thought the spikes down to 1.82v were bad enough. This is ridiculous.
Would some you guys with good PSU's care to show me your charts?

My fluctuates between 1.58 and 1.57 :)... well I do have the best in the business (trueControl 550W) and I have not overclocked due to the crappiness of my vidcard.

That last bit where the 12v drops off is when i plugged in the old AMD retail fan to blow on the northbridge. It was running at 100% then.
Such a little fan did that. sigh!

That is some major fluxuation in your voltages.. I never used this program until this thread :D I must say I like it...
My 12v, 3.3, 5.0 are solid!
But my vcore is as bad as your vcore :( And its on a Antec 431w!!!

Im thinking about trying an Enermax cause they're better on the 5v rail which i believe is what ASUS uses on this board to power the CPU.
I dunno... my truecontrol is pretty good :D plus I can make the 5v go over 5v.Quote:

Not a lot of cashflow ATM and i also need a bigger HDD and video card.
Just spent over $500 AUD a month ago for the CPU, Mobo, Ram and PSU.
At least i know ill have a better chance of hitting 2.3G stable with a decent PSU. Ive still got 0.05v left in the bios(its set to 1.8v) and with steady rails it should effectivly give me almost 0.1v
You probably already noticed im not so inclined to spend double the money for 10-20% more performance but i can definitly feel the urge :)
First a PSU that costs 3 times more than this one, then i'll need double price ram to get 200mhz sync with low lat etc all for a few more mhz fps. aarrgg,. where does it end?
[edit] I still cant get fan2 to regulate. wonder if it only works on the CPU header. The fan did slow down when it was on the CPU HS.
is there any difference between the true control 550 and the true 550 other than the control panel, and if not is there a way to buy just the panel and attach it?

Hopefuly the next version will do it . And multi stage speed control would be nice :)

Im hoping later versions will also include polling adjustment and multistage speed control.
