lol... OH YEAH, im crazy enough to go driving with no lights lol... no its that I was sitting in the car with my girl the other day and the lights were attracting a lot of attention. ;)
Lol, my dad has a 2001 750IL, we still can't find the lightswitch, and the manual doesn't directly say where it is located :), i'd just keep it as it is, it know when you need the headlights on, and when you dont, so really, better let the technology run the car this time.
Well if there is no manual way to do it just install an aux relay to switch them.
Or shut the car off :p
They want to hear the music. Don't want to run out battery you know? making out can take some time.
yeah... too much action tends to heat things up and the AC needs to be on sometimes but those damn lights have to go! lol... im goin to call up a BMW dealer right now and ask them about your fathers car model and see what they say, Ill be back with the results in a few minutes.
Damn... Where is the freaking WHITE PAGES!
DAMN PIECE OF CHIT BMW FAGS... sigh... damn hookers lol...
All that damn hard work and headache on trying to figure out, and they give me results I dont want... I called the damn dealers and told them about the car and they said that there is no way to Manually turn them off... you have to take in the car to the dealers so they can reprogram it not to do that and if they un-program it then your stuck with hitting the switch all the time... STUPID BMW! I guess were goin to have to sit in my car from now on... lol... BMWs are cheap they all make a clicking sound from the engine! and their parts dont last long... lol... alright im off to rest my brain laterz hope we have all learned from this... I have... BMWs SUCK!
lol...that's like saying NEC monitors suck because they have a light on even when they're in standby..
Okay...not sure if this will help at all...but here goes. I used to have the same problem with a Grand Prix, and a buddy of mine had a similar problem with his car (can't for the life of me remeber which one - he's only had about one per year for the last 15 years). In any case, there was one way that we could get around that problem. If you turned the switch between the parking lights setting and the regular lights, there was one small area that turned the lights off (in between settings). It was sort of hard to locate, but not a big deal with a little practice.
I have no clue what the BMW's switch is like, or if this would even work...but thought I'd throw it out there. (In any case, it might help you Pontiac people).
i dont remember if i was in a mercedes or a bmw im pretty sure it was a bmw, but the light swithc was hidden on the i cant think of what its called, but the stick that has the windshield wiper controls and the turn signals. it should be somewhere on there. i dont know if its labled though
