From what I've seen, Sharky Forums doesn't contain many good examples of written English. I'd steer clear if I were you, or you might get bad habits. ;)

If you were to send a third grade English class to this forum to correct spelling,they would laugh at the majority of us. I truly understand people misspelling while in a hurry typing,those are just typos.But the misspelling of so many simple words over and over in the same post makes me cringe and I'll tell you why. Most of the people I see misspelling words over and over are actually very smart people.They can tell you how to overclock, install, network, configure, etc.,but what are they going to do in a high level job where writing scripts and working with command prompts are tedious and correct spelling is a must? I sey lern to spiel befour yoo doo enythang els. Know mattre howe smarte yoo mite bee, yoo kan steal loock stewped. :D

If we hated you, we'd have to hate, Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, South Africans, Zimbabweans, etc. etc.

You forget also that Great Britain consists of three countries, and in general language, many words are spelt differently. Then in the United Kingdom there are four countries...

Besides, what use would a language be if it didn't evolve?
