I don't know how accurate is this site but according to that, they were given a beta Radeon9500MAXX (w/dual R300 chips) board to test it.
Results: 27573 3d marks

Thats sweet!!!!!!! if its true of course. i wanna get me one of those!!
If those results are real, then WOW! Radeon 9500MAXX... I will have to remember that. :D
link don't work anymore...at least not for me....and even still, there's no way that a new card is going to provide twice the score of some of todays absolute fastest machines....it's gotta be a spoof
There's a thread in the HardForums detailing how the screenshot is a fake.
Since it is a MAXX, that means it's the card that falls between the next radeon coming up and the generation after that. It's possible that performance like that maybe available next summer.
It has to be fake, but we will be at 27000+ 3d marks soon.
It's gotta be fake, but maybe if it gets 300fps on the nature test...
it got 144.9fps on the nature testQuote:

I thought the r300 was going to be called the Radeon 1000 or Radeon 10,000 then why would a dual r300 chip be called the Radeon 9500
It's definately a fake :(
Imagine having a card that is really that fast...
MAN MY CARD SUCKS it only gets 100fps at 1600x1200 in Morrowind....piece of crap:)
Actually, r300 is going to be called radeon 9500 not 10000 as some sight had previously posted.
Well.. while i very much doubt that this is a real product... they could make one, assuming all this mumbojumbo about a "bridge chip" was true.. or if they just wrote it into the new chip deisghn or decided to suck it up and make a seccond driver set... However, in theory, such a card could achive that score. R300 should be a good bit faster than a GF4 Ti4600 (i got to see one running today in a very nice system on a very nice sony 21" crt and it looked like a bucket of crap next to me old Radeon VIVO btw) and two chips would be about twice as fast. probably a little less due to implementation restraints... but if a CPU were able to keep up, that sounds right. which means scores like that are not all that far off. Either way, i think R300 will be good enough, one chip or two.:)

I also found this which I believe it clears things up:
http://discuss.madonion.com/forum/sh...&sb=5&o=0&vc=1
So it was fake.

There is a Radeon8800 already. It's the firegl version of the standard Radeon8500.
That is the FireGL 8800 that uses 128MB 300/300mhz core and memory, however the RV250 will be called the Radeon 8800;)Quote:

I hate false information, but cmon 20000 3dmarks is a LITTLE high. I saw it comming a mile away.
P.s> I have one and its great I get 23,094 3dmarks, pass it on.
