Moto T250, O2 (UK provider since I'm from the UK)
Ericsson T60d, Cingular Nation, with rollover minutes....:D
Motorola v60i phone with the Alltel total freedom plan.
at&t wireless
erisson t68i...only the best phone out there.
Cingular/Nokia 8260 -- any ideas on when the 7210 will come out here (US)? I'm a Nokia guy and that'll prolly be the best US Nokia phone when it comes out so I'm looking forward to move up to it from this aging TDMA/mono/blah phone.
Nokia 7650 on T-Mobile (UK) Freetime 750 with a 200 txt message/month package added.
Ericsson T39m with Telmore thingie. :)
And for the uninformed the T39 is essentially a smaller better looking T68 except it doesn't have a colour display. ;)
Sprint SCH-A460 (at least, I think so, I can't log into sprint's website to check but it seems to be that).
Sprint and Cingular are the only services with really good reception at my school (UPenn). Cingular doesn't have services in my home area tho (southeastern VA), so I had to go with Sprint.
verizon-qualcom, cingular-6100, (5)- at&t-6100 pay as you at 12 cents a minute for taking to fairs, sking, or anywhere that we have lost cell phones before. Also if relatives or kids friends stay over they can use them.
If you had cingular gsm, you could get a 7210 right now, but you have to pay a bit more, I have seen it for 429USD. I did read that T-mobile will have it by the end of the month <--- take this with a grain of salt.Quote:

I've heard T-mobile will come out with it soon as well. The thing about the 7210 for Cingular is I've only seen it in unlocked versions thru non-Cingular dealers -- i.e. internet vendors. I don't want to pay $400+ for a phone that in a few weeks (hopefully) will be out thru Cingular for much less. The only Nokia GSM phone Cingular sold here last I checked was the 6340, but this could have changed. I suppose I'll hit the Cingular store tommorow to get the word on it. I also don't have a SIM card currently since the 8260 is TDMA, so I'd have to get that and changing carriers is out of the question since I have enough reasons to stay with Cingular ;). I hope its under $200 after activation when Cingular gets it :).Quote:

aughh my battery is dead and the spare is not charging...

I'd be a little cautious about the Nokia 7210 - it was launched over here before Xmas, and the two main telcos running with it promptly removed it from the shelves shortly after.. Apparently it was none too stable! See:

Yeah I've heard that too. I just want a new phone...sick of the 8260. I've had it a over year and a half and its wearing on me. Its a decent phone, but its just getting dated. To top it off, I could "upgrade" to the v60 or 8265 here, but neither of those are really a worthwhile step up from the 8260 in my opinion. Its just the horribly slow rollout of GSM here thats getting to me.Quote:

From what I've been told the 7210 was withdrawn because of problems with receiving picture messages. Two of my friends have got a 7210, it seems like a good phone though neither of em are overly extatic with it's general performance. I've got an 8310 on O2 (300 free texts/month woohoo). On a slightly unrelated note what the hell is Nokia doing not putting Snake II on their new phones?????????
only the most expensive phone out there :)Quote:

Am I the only one who doesn't have a cellphone?
btw, I also don't have a phone :(
So I guess my answer would be a phone card with payphones.
At least it's kinda mobile
Negatory, the Orange SPV and the Nokia 7650 trumps it in the price category. :)Quote:

Well, there's the Panasonic GD67 which shouldn't be more than $220.Quote:

Then you have the Motorola T720 at approx. $275.
And of course the Ericsson T68i which should be down to about $350 now. :)
All this wouldn't seem so expensive if the US dollar wasn't completely worthless at the time. :)
This is european prices mind you, I don't expect the US prices to be much different but who knows.
The T68i can be bought for under $300, just go to half.com or ebay.Quote:

Yeah well, sure if you want to buy used goods. I was merely giving out the current prices you see in shops. :)Quote:
