By the looks of the L3's and the AXDA2100UT3C, it's a tbred. But... I could be wrong of course.
Look at the photos side by side of the $96.00 XP2100 and the $97.00 XP2100. From the looks of it, the $97.00 is the T-Bred Rev "B"Quote:

Look like Newegg hawe AMD XP 1700 TB Rev B in stock also , read This
This Guy made a review of Xp2100 Rev B , look like he hit the outstanding speed of 2500 mhz
omg, please let this be true. Has anyone ordered the 1700+ yet? If so did you recieve version A or B? I'm thinking about ordering one very soon. I hate the be the guinne pig but for 51 bucks, I would just about do it.
i'm feeling my next upgrade coming very shortly. I'll be selling off my xp1800+ w/ epox 8kha+ and getting an nforce2 w/1700-2100xp tbred-b. Depends on the price and availability and OCability.
NICE!! i think i should be selling off my 1600+ AGOIA soon then, and i may just consider gettin one of these puppies! :D Either i'll get the 2100+ rev B or the 1700+ rev B....hmmmmmmmmmmm
Doesn't look like the 1700 is that great of an o/c'er if it is in fact a Tbred "B".
This is awsome new chips just seem to be poping up every day around here. Heck AMD now has the opposite of the paper launch NO Launch at all just release and hope people find out. Well anyway i am probably going to pick one of these babies out soon so i have a few questions right now i have a A7V333 board i might use it in and it cant go very high on my 1600+ because i need more vcore so im thinking that with the lower vcore of the tbreds i can get more out of an overclock what do you guys think. Also I will probbably be getting a new cpu cooler at the same time around 35dollars to be spent on it so whats a good one now i have a kingwin cud 725 all copper they are hard to find and very cheap around $15 but i have around 43c all the time so its a pretty good cooler. Anyway could i get around 35c for $35 or is that to optimistic. Also my ram is crucial pc2100 so im guessing that will hold me up also. But i can get new ram.
the SK-7 is 20 bucks at www.svcompucycle.com and you could spend 15 bucks on a tornado or delta, which would definately get you temps of 35C or lower. Then again, you could get the SLK-800 at the same place for 30 bucks, and get a nice high speed sunon or mechtronics fan at www.coolerguys.com. You'd be spending a little over 35, but you'd be getting superb air cooling performance ;)Quote:

The Cpu does 1.960 mhz @ 1.7v and 30/celsius, look to me like @ 1.8V the thing will be capable at least of 2060 mhz wich is XP 2500 ,.. this is a 600 mhz overclock , i personaly find that greath , dunno about you .Quote:

Did you expected that with a 50 $ value CPU to beat the P4 3.06 ? ,..how ever this thing with a 8rda+ will beat the P 4 2.7 with a PE cipset .
We were expecting 2.2-2.3Ghz because it's a t-bred B. Some t-bred A's can make 2Ghz on AC so there is really no difference between the two chips if the B can't go way past 2Ghz.
Sorry, didn't mean to say it wasn't a great o/c'er... meant to say it doesn't appear to be tons better than the "A" core. I don't raise my vcore at all anyway :-P. Mine is stable at default voltage 11.5x147=1690. The "B" core seems to o/c ~7% better... which is significant... but not groundbreaking or anything.Quote:

In think we are not seeing what rev b will do yet becuase the link posted erlier with a 2100+ is a completely different stepping heck its even the brown color and not the green. Also i think that maybe the 1700+s steeping sucks right now while the 2100+ maybe nearer a new 2400+. But hen agian they might just be at there limits now and we have all gooten hyped over nothing. Oh well i think ill take 600mhz anyday. Just wish i was one of those few people with a prometia system. Makes me think about getting a job. lol
Well , this is my main concern also , i will never use a CPU @ 1.9 V or 1.8 .Quote:

I allways put 1 volt more , that's all . My wife dont like noise so i allways use a 5000 rpm fan but if i can find one of those who will do 11.5x166 @ 1.6v , well this is ok with me :p
damnin damnit damnit. Just when i go and buy my 2400. Although i am not mad B/C I did hit 2.3GHZ and 185FSB:)
**Edit and that was with a crappy AUICB 239 stepping.
what stepping are we looking for in a t-bred B? I haven't kept up on that.
For 50 bucks this seems like a no brainer, but would I see that much of an increase? I'm running 1600+(9X200) on a 8rda+. Guess that I could get 200 more mhz easily. I wonder if they will tell me what core the cpu is if I call them to make an order. Anyone talked to the newegg people before? TIA
This guy hawe the XP 1700 Tbred B @ 2200 mhz with 1.85V
I went on the 'Xtreme' forum, saw a lot of stuff. I just went ahead
and ordered the 1700+ from newegg. Go from there!!!
MC
huh...
Am I reading this right?
I can overlclock from 1.47GHz to at least 2 ghz with a very nice air cooler? and have it be stable?
If thats the case i'll change my order to that one instead of the 2400+
EDIT:
Upon further investigation it looks it requires watercooling.. hmm.. *looks into it*
