NeoRageX is great, but use MAME32k if you want to play over the net.
Nah, emulators arent illegal, if he starts asking for roms it will be closed.Quote:

i wish they still updated it :(
yeah, i use neorageX. it's the fastest one out there. not to mention it's rock solid and has a nice GUI. second best i guess would be mame.
if you've never heard of it, check out www.zophar.net
they have every emulator under the sun :D
Yeah I have neoragex and it's worked on every game tried so far. Have supernes and nintendo emulators also that work great although the nes one is a bit of a pain to get working.

I think that the best emulator for N64 is (was at least) Nemu64. I had problems with UltraHLE or Project 64 or whatever it was called, but Nemu always gave me good compatibility and speed. Obviously not perfect, but close. I don't know where the project is now, it's been so long since I've touched the emulation scene. www.nemu.com
I also second Zsnes for snes. Best emulator ever :)
i prefere snes9x over zsnes-each to there own i supose
are you guys using neoragex on xp.can get it working on my mates win 98 but get error on mine soon as i click on the icon that starts it
you know you have to have the neogeo bios right? unfortunately like roms, posting links to game system bioses is prohibited :(Quote:

I just use MAME32 with a neogeo rom in there. I've never had any problems with compatibility or slowdown or anything on ANY game using that, neogeo roms or not (except for King of Fighters 2001, but that was when I was on my HP comp which had utterly horrible memory problems, so I can't fault it for that)
that reminds me, I need to see if there's a newer version of MAME32 out, the one I have is like a year old
what mame you using the newer onws seem not to run neo geo roms
Neorage is good, stopped working for me though :(, even if i try installing different versions and stuff, it just doesnt work, might not be WinXP compatable or something...
well, so far i havent tried it on xp yet...
at least you have a good alternative which is mame :D
I could never assign the buttons to work on anything in mame, i have no bad luck with snes emulators however =p
MAME will not run NeoRageX roms, and vice versa, the roms are named differently.Quote:

You can use NeorageX on XP. You just need a special version
Get it here on this COMPLETELY LEGAL emulator site -->
http://www.vg-network.com/
Still get error reports coming up everytime i click on it =/
maybe i have to delete registry files or something...
