About the only time that I can think of when CaT had to go to an ISP about Banning someone was when they wouldnt go away. IE. they do stupid stuff, CaT bans their account, the re-register and do stupid stuff and CaT bans them again, and this goes on and on. Fortunately for a situations like this CaT can also ban IPs, or IP ranges. But in a world based on DHCP banning an IP range can be dangerous...so he drops the ISP a line and makes the ISP aware of their subscribers greiveous actions.
I remember the time that half of Vancouver, BC couldn't get to these forums because of one pesky user with accounts at several ISP's in the region. The IP block ban only lasted a couple of days because of side effects. :(

The easiest way to get a Ban Stick from Santa is to pretend CaT is Santa and make some 4 letter requests. LOL :D j/k of course.

hehe I told a lady I saw at work that she had a smidgeon of grease on her forehead. She told me it was for Lent. Then another one came in and I didn't question it, altho neither did I understand it. I've never seen anyone do this before. No one in Hawaii does it. I understand now that it has some sort of religious significance, but what's it mean?
That grease on her forehead indicates that lent has started. She probably went to an Ash Wed. service and the pastor put that on her indicating god's ashes.Quote:

This to me, is a really odd thread. There is nothing magical in being banned. I really hate banning people, because like mentioned above, sometimes banning someone removes many users who were not even part of the problem.
but we're funny right? tell me we're funny, tell me we're worth your time ;) WOOT, i got a post out of the banmaster! I don't want people to get banned, just the stick, it would be great.
