This sounds cool, but the intended "levels" sounds like communist dictatorship to me.

Isn’t this one of the signs of the apocalypse, I think the release of the XBOX 2 signals the end of the world. Oh well, Game On!
Isn’t that what Microsoft is all about. The assimilation of all inferior things?
Sounds like they have some really solid ideas for how to improve gaming.
I just wish it wasnt all Microsofts work.
One side of me wants to hate MS cause they are your stereotypical big brother entity. But at the same time you have to like them cause dispite there market dominance they still listen to their users alittle.

Are they really going to acquire Blizzard, too? I remember reading that somewhere a while back.
I like the idea of the standard controller.
Yeah, they are buying all companies. Nintendo, Sony, Sega, id, Capcom, SquareSoft, EA, id, Vivendi... ;)Quote:

I think there is a rumor that they are going to acquire a game company every other week.
From the sounds of having a standard controller and the ability to play some Longhorn native games directly from the CD, it sounds like MS is doing what I thought they shouldve done instead of making the XBox. This can all be very cool.
It'd be nice if you can play Xbox games on the PC. Other than that, I really don't see how this is a sign that Microsoft is taking over. They're just doing something that they should've done a long time ago in the "PC market".
Go Microsoft. Good to see a company drive the stagnant field forward.
Like how BF pushed everyone to get beefy rigs and Broadband.
The Anti-Christ is supposed to be "extremely" charismatic and whatnot, I don't think we have to worry.Quote:

Yes it is. If we don't push new technology in everyones going to slowly crawl into the new stuff and prices for higher technology equipment won't get affordable very quickly. I can't wait until phone line internet is eliminated totally.Quote:
