That is one of the coolest things I've seen. If it wasn't one of the tiny grills I'd buy that in a heart beat :D
MMMmmmmm, must have George Foreman USB iGrill. :D
i have a real george forman grill, and it hauls *** for chicken, burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. i wish they did make a real USB grill, think it's possible to convert the power cord on a regular one to usb? if so, i'd never leave my computer
They have to find a similar use with the heat sink one day :)Quote:

WOW! How does it work? you can get that much heat with a USB connection? is this an april fools joke?

yeah, thats a great idea.
But I wouldnt trust even a geek to not burn his own house down with a Networkable grill.
keep that in a kitchen where it belongs.
You dont get heat from the USB port :) However you do get a voltage and current :)Quote:

But a heating element usually requires a higher current then a USB port can supply. Maybe it plugs in the wall and you control the temps and cooking via the USB port. Now that would be cool!
A digital toaster :)
No, it says its completly powered by the USB cord.
Thats probably why its so small. I want one of those for my dorm next year.
Before you guys really do get your hopes up..... it is an april fool's joke :)
huh? really?
edit: :(:(:(:(:(
Yeah click on the Buy it now button :)Quote:

But that is one sweet idea. So I was right that the USB cannot supply the high current demands to cook food :P
It would be nice to have on that runs off AC current but USB controlled so you can cook from home and program it.
Wow. That would be awesome if it existed. I could cook a hamburger and play games (not at the same time of course).
What's stopping you?
I get hungry when I play games.
I'm defiantly seeing a niche market here. A completely networked kitchen. Set all the ingrediants up before you leave and then you can start/monitor your food across your network :)
How about my computer being on one end of my house and my kitchen being on the opposite end? I could and do bring in food every now and then (and even use AOL cds as coasters for my drinks) but it's just a matter of principle. Sometimes I don't feel like walking that far to get food, 'ya know?Quote:

Even if it is an April Fools joke, we could still buy the real mini size ones and plug it into the powerbar beside our computers.
:)
Think of all the possibilities.
