maybe a DVD drive.. still never gotten around to buying one.
Radeon AIW 9800
Hopefully I have enough money to buy one:p
My next upgrade is a Prescott CPU and a Giga-Byte GA-8KNXP mobo.
256Mb of Ram with a GF4 ti 4200
Lots of movies/series to add to my collection. Forget the rig for now.
a case, my secondary rig is currently running sprawled across my desk... Not the greatest for dust protection and such. That and I hate having to short two pins with my knife to turn it on. I want a power switch dangit.
a new brain.
clipless pedals for my road bike.
More RAM
Next for me is
Intel Pentium 4 2.6c
Canterwood MB
512mb DC DDR400
and a NV35 or a 256mb 9800pro
New Hard Drive:
120GB Maxtor, 7,200rpm, ATA133 & 8MB Cache :) :D
Well, nothing for right now, since that 20" LCD set me back a bit. Actually, this computer I'll probably keep as is...I'll most likely be building a cheap machine for home next; I'm taking this one home for summer break, but it's gonna be way too hard to get back for winter break.
i woiuyldn't mind a nice new rock solid power supply followed by some better ram.
after that, perhaps a new cpu/mobo or vid card?
I'm ditching my gigantor tower and migrating to a Shuttle SN41G2 or Sotltek Qbic...:)
athlon 2100+
kingstton hyperX ram
epox 8rda+
have to buy everything together
Nothing for the next while. Eventually I'll update the main components: CPU, Mobo, RAM, likely a new case & PSU.
Next may be a DVD burner.
I currently have a P4 1.8GB, and a 16X Liteon CDRW.
Heres my wish list...
xp2100+ w/ SLK-800 and SmartfanII
512mb HyperX PC2700
9700 Pro 128mb DDR
MX500 mouse
new round cables
120mm blowhole
front 92mm fans
...oh yeah, let the fun begin:)
See sig below
92mm tornado fan??? Talk about bleeding ears...geez.
512mb of some ram that can do 211fsb at good timings
I was going to buy some Kingston HyperX PC3000, a 512MB stick. Only $80 at most places. Should get enough money, plus what I can find in the couch by selling my old PC2100.
Anyone interested?:D
9700 pro (when the prices drop a little more)
AND
some tasty HyperX
Abit BH-7 and a P4 2.4 for a "budget" Intel box...:D
