No, they're real. And im a bit disapointed by the graphics. Of course, half life is about gameplay but i would expect more from a fall 2003 game.

Looks fine and dandy, but whats up with the lego lighting ? Looks like a 10x10 lightmap stretched beyond logic.

I know where you're heading with that comment. But scans doesnt alter graphics that much, heck, paper is a natural filter for polygon edges, aliasing, shimmering and pretty much all graphical artifacts, making it look nearly as smooth as FMV.

Scans doesnt change the fact that the lighting in that second screenshot looks like something straight out of Lego's manufacturing plant. And that the first screen has pretty much the most bland interior design i've ever seen, one big flat orange color to cover 3/4 of the scene..

Halo 2, stalker and doom3 are much more impressive technically than HL2 so far.

Buggy, the lighting by the soldier could be caused by a brick formation in the wall/ceiling where it's been blown out with a bright light then shining through. *shrug*

Well what else can you judge? Its not a video, its not a game demo, its just scanned screenshots. The only thing peoples can do is judge them, whether they cream their pants or arent impressed by it, also fit in your comment.

As long as it is as good as the first I will be happy.

I agree, just maybe with a better ending and no lame alien world (worst part of half life imo)

Wow, kinda wierd to think were actually seeing Half Life 2...so Valve was actually doing something all that time. I wonder if Teamfortress 2 might even be announced as a surprise too.

well, HL2 had to happen sooner or later, the way the first game ends was just too much of a cliffhanger...
I predict that TF2 will be released as some sort of patch for HL2.
