Does anyone know what the sys requirements for condition zero are or will be? Or if my rig is good enough for over the minimum?

The proc kind of hurts, but I believe CZ isn't very graphics intensive. Now if CS2 comes out I'm guessing you'll need a new computer.
I don't really care about the graphics, I just want to be able to tell the head from the arm:D
CZ runs on the HL engine, if you can run the original CS you can run CZ also.
Well HL 2 is coming out. So CZ may run on that engine. It's a whole lot different than the orignal HL engine and much prettier.. :DQuote:

ok.... cz is basically cs with better skins, and no it doesnt run on HL2's SOURCE engine, it runs on the good old HL engine.Quote:

Basicly the same like POS CS ... shitty netcode for the 56k poor people and uses the HL engine which is almost the same as the QUAKE 2 engine i think so .... should be able to play that stupid game as well
hmmm sounds like somebody gets owned while playing
They've even said that a later version of CS will have all of the enhancements of CZ minus the single player game. People with CZ will be able to play with CS peeps and vice-versa, its the same damn game, just an expensive improvement for those who want a likely crappy single player game.Quote:

My laptop will have the exact same setup as Derringer just with a P3 instead of a P4. I mainly concerned about playing battlefield 1942 on it...
wtih my current rig I run battlefield on medium detail just fine. Of course I'm looking at my brand new nforce2 mobo and athlon barton right next to me so this will shortly change. ;)Quote:

From my understanding both Counter-Strike 2 and Team Fortress 2 will be using a modified Half-Life 2 engine. I would assume so will Day of Defeat 2 since those developers have recently scored kudos with Valve. Counter-Strike: Condition Zero though is just Counter-Strike with the same textures but higher polygon count, more features, newer maps, newer modes, newer weapons, some different effects and so forth. I even heard they are adding an effect in CZ where when it snows (randomly) on levels you can slip and or slide.
BUMP
Wow, Thanks for the responses guys. But now I'm confused, there's a CZ, and CS 2?!
CS:CZ was announced a long time ago and was supposed to come out like last year in april lol, so I pretty much gave up on it. I guess they are still working on it and will deliver when its ready. Its like Beretta said except he forgot to mention that it also has a single player mode, so you can play it offline.
CS2 - well nothing really as been said about this game, except we're assuming that since HL2 was announced, and CS being so popular, its only a matter of time before we hear something about CS2.
