Thunderbird stop the flames

well i have been here for a long time for a while i never registered and when i did I never made that many post. I dont realy like to post as much as a like to read post. :cool: well anyway i have notice somethings happening with Tbird here. the whole thread of shame.this is one of though stories where everyone laughs and makes fun and then later we find out that he committed sucide or something. hey how knows maybe this forum is his only hobby... people dont like him but at elast they talk to him... When I was in 8th grade (while ago) there was this girel we made fun of, she came into school with a broken leg because she said she tripped over her cat in the shower. :confused: anyway turned out she didnt come to school for a while found out she had some cancer or something. felt pretty said. I for one think thunderbirds ideas interesting. Those insane resoulations make you wonder if they will ever be possible. the rough extimations are well interesting also. after all there is a fine line between genius and insane. Then again insanely stupid is in there too.

Please proof-read your post.:) From the sound of the thread it appeards that you are accusing T-Bird of flaming, which is obviosuly not the case.
Are you saying T-Bird is 100% innocent? No...I didn't think so. That's all I'm going to say.:)

I agree hes not innocent, but hes not guilty of a crime either,
i think too many people have been flaming him for nor reason (at times), its about time we we move on and give him another chance to establish himself as a respectable member of sharky community :) wish u luck t-bird!
seriously if was him i wud feel pretty bad about so many people cursing me.

I said I'd stop flaming a couple of weeks ago and I've kept my word.:) I would feel very bad too! I think there have been three threads involving his name and negative connotations, maybe more. Oh well.

I agree with you here also. Now that he has a good overclocking motherboard he can now add helpful/usefull information about overclocking.:)

I've been reading the forums here for a good year and posting off and on. I've seen the stuff Thunderbird has posted and it may be uninformed and completely off base, but if Thunderbird is the worst poster these forums has than I'm truly glad of that, because it's not nearly as bad as other forums I've participated in. Seriously some of you are spoiled, if you think Tbird is bad look around the net a little more, when you return you'll count your blessings :D

if you really want to feel bad about your posts then visit the gamepro.com forums, they really tear you up:( really, everybody on these forums are nice, especially Colossus;)

What? Are you referring to the quotes? T-Bird said in a thread a while back that he doesn't care and finds them to be very amusing.:) I'm not that sorry for the guy.:p

I don't know where I have been...but I really haven't seen Thunderbird1GHz post too much. I could just not put up with the people provoking me all the time and making fun of me for what actions I do. Why the heck are these threads started anyways?

I'm guilty as the rest. I have done a bit of flaming as well.

But I would really like to see this problem go away. I would like to see threads like this stopped. I would like people to pay much less attention to him.

Lets just ignore him and his posts.

Ahh, so you havent mastered the skill of reconizing the start and end of a quote so you can skip past it :o

i complained about him once in the ask sharky forum
and i was warned to read my agreement how ironic

so i went elsewhere to get my computer fix for a while
i havent been here in a while on account of him and how i was treated for complaining about him

you cant have a civil talk about video that is grounded in reality

if only the new .10 patch would come out for diablo2 ...sigh....

I don't think threads talking specifically about T-Bird help in any way (though I was probably the first to make one when I started the poll on T-Bird quotes). There will always gonna be a bunch of people that flame T-Bird for his posts and there are gonna be a few that try to protect him.

But I do want to get things straight. I don't think T-Bird is always serious with the stuff he posts. We've pointed out his errors many a time and he continues on with his ways. It's understandable why he would want to ignore us if he gets flamed so often. However, it's not understandable why he has changed so very little before deciding to ignore us. I would think that most people would make an effort to satisfy his peers before deciding to ignore our suggestions.

What bothers me the most is that he is stubborn, not admitting to his mistakes. You'll see a bunch of people arguing against his claims and he'll make one long post, quoting each person and giving some (IMO) lame rebuttals.
