Just pics of the case :

Yeah, I know it's a Thermaltake Xaser IIa:o , BUT I like it!:p
http://24.126.107.248/MikeySG/AMD/AMD-8.jpg
Side view, side fan is directing cool outside air to the Zalman fan, cooling VPU and ramsinks (I hope! )
That's all for my AMD rig, next up is my Intel rig!;) :D
Now for my Intel :
OK, OK, it's an MSI!:o everyone's entitled to a mistake now and then. But so far, this sucker's been rock solid. I'm still alive, aren't I? (It hasn't caught fire or exploded....yet!:p )

It's a chieftec case, notice the similarity between this and the Thermaltake. What can I say? When I like something I stick to it!:p

My P4, all lit up and humming (a freakin' loud humming at that, no thanks to the Spark 7) at full speed. ;) http://24.126.107.248/MikeySG/P4/P4-6.jpg
Last but not least, my Intel setup hooked to a Pioneer 50" plasma TV and my HTIB, 50" of gaming goodness!:D
That's all folks! A BIG THANKS to the C man for hosting the pics! I'm chugging down a beer on your behalf bud!!! *hic*:o
You really like that Zalman heatsink, don't you? :p
Never figured you for those woozie LED fans :D
Hey Mike, I had always thought that a duct from the side panel to the Zalman fan on your vid card cooler would really improve that setup. As you know, I've a very simular setup and might give it a try. The idea is to bring ambient air in from outside the case rather than the slightly warmer, inside the case, air. 'Course if you run benchmarks with the side panel off then all bets are off, but when running normal ops with the side panel on it should help. Regards . . .
How could you tell?! :p :DQuote:

Me likey led fans! :o BTW, if you see my AMD rig, you'll notice that the Zalman fan is just about where the side-panel fan is. Cooler outside air is sucked into the case right into the Zalman fan, cooling heatsink as well as the inside of the case.;) :D In the case of my Intel rig, the led fan does an OK job, anyway, I have a 120mm fan cooling the 9700P. :DQuote:

What no comment on the 50" plasma TV???? :D :D
heh....that's definitely a fine choice of "eyecandy" for a background....and it being that big...who knows it might poke someone's eye out
Thanks C man, I didn't check the link as I assumed it was fine.:o Been busy but now I'm here, will update the link again.;) :)I take it you like the wallpaper, HeHe!, she can poke my eyes out anytime, anywhere! :p :DQuote:

Now after looking at your two fine rigs, it makes me want to go out right now and buy some round ide cables and some sheeves for my PSU, or you can send me one of your rigs, because you have already done all the work(I don`t know why I`m getting so lazy).;) :D
*Slobbers over tv* Damn....I'm jealous....where do you live again Mike? *whips out thieving tools* ;)
I tink you'll be able to find the sleeving in hardware/electrical shop, you must also remember to get heat-shrink - you know, those rubber-like tubings that shrinks when heated. ;) Took me 3 hours to sleeve my cables for my AMD rig, BUt it took only 1-2 hours for my Intel rig. Talkin' about time and effort here!;) Don't get me started about being lazy, you can't possibly compare with me when it comes to laziness!:pQuote:

I'll tell ya as soon as I've installed a home security system! :o Just kidding dude, it'll be pretty tough for you though, I live in Asia.:p :DQuote:
