Nice! Blizzard has earned my respect. :)
Meh, took too long for diablo II.
Wow....Insane that there are that many people cheating! Nearly a half million accounts??!! Jesus... You'd think that would be quite a percentage of their customers!

:D
Still wish they didn't have the temporary 1 month ban - should be one strike and you're out, but then again they are a business.
That's a lot of koreans ;)

man thats cool :D
Hehehe! This is actually pretty funny, because my account should be one of the banned ones as well. I remember in Star Craft: Brood War I used to use map hacks in many games I played. Ohh, my poor little CD key!:D
w00t!
That's awesome! Now every place needs to be like this. :)

good job for blizzard.
Now the BAD,
Blizzard went ahead and banned CD-Keys and IP's but that doesn't stop the hackers since they were cable users (non-static IPs) and people using cd-key generators. Namely blizzard most likely banned quite a few people who had nothing to do with cheating at all (like ME last time).
Keygens never work, so I dont think thats much to worry about. People get keys through other means, i.e. distributing cheats with CDkey loggers in them.
I wouldn't doubt theres some innocents being caught up in the bans though.

 Loser.
No wonder my dad couldn't get online to play WarCraft III :) :p
good, i hate cheaters even more than i hate far right wing republican scum
No wonder all of a sudden my Warcraft III stoppped working this morning. Can I get a refund from the store?
I wonder if their policy also extends to the pretty retail boxes sitting on store shelves. If it's not part of the box printing, I can't see this being legal.
If you were cheating, you deserved it. Since you are playing on servers that they host, you are subject to their rules, which they can change at anytime. It also doesn't affect your single player game, only online play.Quote:

It's legal. It's part of the End User License Agreement you accepted by opening the box and installing the software.Quote:

Pathetic... Sharky cheaters...
Why didn't you guys join in the Warcraft fun back a few months ago... I could have utterly destroyed you :D
All I have to say is Yay Blizzard, keep up the good work.
Too bad they can't patch games to prevent this stuff instead of firing off hundreds of thousands of bans.
I Like the bans it makes them go buy new cd keys if they wanna keep playing.
