Review and pics!!!!
pics first. taking and uploading now. :) hang tight :)
:D :D :D
Where the hell is SoupNazi?
uploading.
oh my god, these speakers are absoloutely incredible. the sheer definition of the highs, lows, and mids are gasp inducing. i think this sounds better than my HT system in my family room. and the sub, WOW, is it tight. it kicks just right, on the songs that bass isn't dominant but in the back, it gently purrs. on my club, techno, rave music, i feel like i am going ot have a heart attack. doens't bleed like the z680 sub, at all. still uploading...
Its OK pinchyCM take some deep breaths and BREATHE SLOWLY!
I've already started my layout for my extensive comparison review , its gonna be a long one folks , on the order of about 6-8 pages about 3dss size, with just the important bits. Ive done doing some tests from the pm5.1 sub and can give you a sneak peak at a few numbers :)
PM THX 5.1 Subwoofer:
Before Distortion/ Port Noise is in (Brackets)
26.37 Hz @ ( 84 dB ) 90 dB @ optimal listening position / 101 dB @ 1m peak SPL
HOWEVER, what i really need is someone who would be able to host my review, be it sharkyextreme or whoever, just some place to post it, it shouldnt be bigger then 700 k with all the pictures and everything
if you can help me out in this regard let me know
[email protected]
thanks!
Send a PM to MuiseJT, I'm sure he can help you out. He's the mod for this forum:)
i'll let you know, i'll do some digging, but i'm on a tight schedule this weekend. i'm only home for a few days, so i have to see the folks, and i turn 21 this weekend! :)Quote:

i don't have any of my tools here, to measure db, loss, etc etc. i'll have to do that later. for now i'm just going to upload pics, and rant/rave about how everyone should get a set. and i thought my z680s were good. oh man.

NICE MOUSE, in that last pick, cough IE explorer 3.0 ( BEST for quake3)
I have the same one.
Ohh yea , nice speakers too!!!! :) Great pics :D

My roomie has the same desk and I have the same mouse pad;)
That sub is so big man, what are the measurements of it?
uh, it's huge, compared to any other MM sub i've ever seen. it's about 1.5x the size of a 680 sub, the weight seems better distrubted though. i'm a afraid i'm going to go deaf. i need some better quality mp3s, i can hear the little distortions, kinda like crackling, even in my 192kpbs, that i never heard in the z680s. i need to rerip my cds.Quote:

Haha, I just re-repped all the CD's I listen to on a daily basis to 320kbps. Plus, I think I've decided on the Revo now. Man I'll be set by the time my Ultra's get here.Quote:

*grinds teech* Only 1.5 months:mad:
is it normal that i hear crackling? i think it's the crappy quality of some mp3s.
Try playing a music CD directly... if you still hear the crackling, time to start finding out the sourceQuote:

hrm...
i gotta dig up this cd...
m316Foley told me he could clearly hear a difference between a 192kbps and 320kbps song. Like Coolqf said, try a music CD.
Hehe, looks like you have alot of ripping ahead of you!
i blame it on winamp.
