I think that's pretty darn cool myself....
Very cool indeed
Wow!!
He is obviously very talented but if I were him I would lay off the rust effect a bit. Then again we will have to see the final product before I can fully critisize :D. Until then...
Ugly, but its a very cool theme. Theres quite some talent in that "dirty effect"
Ok, that forum has too many smilies.
But oh man, only that many smilies can express my emotions.
Very nice job indeed.
That's pretty cool! I'd feel like I was getting dirty every time that I touched it! :)
yeah, that is jaw droppin cool   :D
the paint is really amazing
Nice!
You know that was my first impression... I was thinking man it looks so good, I can feel the rust flaking off when carrying it..Quote:

But the theme is amazing.. The rust looks so freaking real!
It looks like a old style govt. equipment that he found on the bottom of the ocean and it works...
Got to love it :)
That guy has talent, it does look a tad ugly at the moment, but i think when it all comes together it will look pretty rad.
I'm kind of wandering the same thing, the paint looks so thick on it, you would think it would flake off all over if you carried it around much.Quote:

Either way that is a sweet case though, it wouldnt surprise me to see that case appear in Yoshi's case mods section one of these days on Tech TV :p
News Alert
Last night part of the case was reported stolen. Somehow someone got past the unlocked door and took part of the case. This is going to add another year to the project.:D
Ok lame joke. Vey sweet case. Cant wait to see more on this killer mod.

Wow that looks awesome...
I really like that.. we need more of that in here :)
that may just take the cake as the best looking case i've seen, that paint job is mind-blowing. I can't wait to see the finished project.
All we need now is a Doom 3 theme moded comp and then contact Nvidia to sponser it..
very nice indeed.
I remember using that same insta-rust last year on a school project when a friend brought up the idea of putting it on my lian li-PC70. I told him he was stupid and crazy and that no one ever would.
The shoe is tasting good. :D
OWNAGE. just looking at that case makes me want HL2.
WOW THat is AWESOME!
I like that mod, it looks great! very creative too! I just don't like the feel of something gritty on the hands, its like it would feel very funny. So that would stop me from doing it, otherwise its great.
Not only did he obviously put a lot of effort into getting that paint theme perfect but he fabricated a ____ load of that stuff, looks like from scratch. Like the metal panel that holds the amperage meter, front buttons and stuff.
And that edge thats around the 5.25" bays. Looks like he just made his resevoir also, dunno what those things were originally though
And I dunno if I missed some pics but the case for his PSU looks completely custom also.
I agree, its some awesome sh%t!
