So has anyone received their Beta Key yet? I pre-ordered from EBgames and the keys were supposed to be emailed today.

I got mine from being a fileplanet subscriber but for some reason the key is only good for 3 days or so...and during those 3 days no one could get in...so yeah that was pretty stupid
The fileplanet keys were part of the stress test they've been doing. The preorders are, I think, a 10 day stint in the closed beta. I'm playing in the closed beta now, and am having a pretty good time at it.
Who are you in the beta? I am playing as well :)
I'm only level 2 rank 2. Don't get a ton of time to play really...Jyve Turkey
Arg! I can't wait... gimmie my KEY!!!
That said, I'm looking forward to finally playing a Paladin the way they were meant to be played!
please please don't tell us how bad it sucks...my hopes will be shattered...
The stress test was pretty boring, imo... but you didn't hear it from me!
Just say "no" to mmorpg's
WOOT! My key just came in. And once my 10 days are up... time to pre-order for the wife. :)
Can't wait to see how the final product is. I played the stress test a bit, and I wasnt to happy with it. All I can do now is hope for the best :)
I really dont like the game...which is very dissapointing for me because I had very high hopes for a D&D based game.
Had high hopes for this before I read a preview where the term garden varitey pretty much summed up the game
Stress test starts today. They just sent me an extra key. First one who responds gets it. BTW, I have no idea how good this is. But I've downloaded the client and am ready to roll when they open it up in the next couple of hours.
:)

Nice thing about previews is that you can fire it up and decide for yourself. There are alot that don't like it, but still many that do.
Everyone seemed to love CoH, but when I played the preview I decided it wasn't for me. Never bought it.
I wish I got into the EQ 2 beta cause if I did, I wouldn't have wasted the buckos on it. On the other hand, I got into the WoW beta, then played for about 5 months afterward.
So what would you guys compare D&D to after playing beta? Is it worth the buy or just another MMO?
There's not much to compare it to. Its not like other mmo's. There's no way to really "grind it out" so to speak...you can't just find a spot where mobs spawn and camp it and xp all day. This is a quest driven game. I suppose it'd be alright for someone and a few of their buddies to hop on now and then and do quests. Having been in the closed beta now for a couple months, I don't think I'll get it, unless I hear that they've increased the content.

Ouch, I just saw that the release price is going to be 60 bucks! Lol, I doubt they will have many subscribers.
I didn't like it....though I'm glad I tried it so I can scratch it from personal consideration. Yes it is quest driven and a bit contrived IMO. Then again alot of the D&D devotees like it....it just isn't the immersive fantasy world that I'm looking for.
Anyone preorder and get in on the headstart?
