Finally a good looking diablo style game. I love these types of games, but dungeon seige just didn't do it for me. Here is a gamespot preview of the game which will be coming out in June:

Graphics are wonderful and when your guy runs around he parts the grass and bushes with his movement, and they sway in wind which is a nice realistic touch! spell effects rock too! check it out if you havent already..
Can't install the demo, says I dont have enough disk space. I have 60+gbs free on the partition I'm trying to install it in though...
Not bad, but I miss the autoarrange inventory option like in DS. I don't know that I like enough to pick it up, but then again I need something to play.
You have enough disk space on your C: drive? Some games need a ton of swap space in the Temp folder to install. You could have 60+ gigs free on one partition but if you have 200mbs free on the C it wont work.Quote:

I figured it out. It is a bug with the install software. It must default to the C drive to install, but my OS is on the E drive. I just changed around the default install drive to my C drive in the registry and it worked fine. Stupid bug.Quote:

My thoughts on goods:
Fun game, diablo clone indeed
Easy to pick up and learn
Graphics look clean
Quests are fairly easy - also because the game is on normal and beginning
As for downfalls:
Game lags quite a bit at some points, defaulted my graphics settings to 1024x768 high all except AA which was at med
I set some down to med and AA to low and it got better but when i entered a cave dropped to like 5fps
Set all to low and it ran fine, am i that outdated with a 6800gt?
Played through some more and then was in another cave, upon running out of cave, game crashed back to windows :(
Using newest nvidia drivers 84.21
Anyone else having some issues? If so i hope its just cuz the demo and they polish it up a bit cuz i wanna get it :(
I have a similar system to your sig but I have a 7800GTX. I definitely got some bad frame rates in places, but none were so bad to make me turn down the default settings. To me, a bad frame rate is one which causes me to die. I ran at 1920x1200 res. I had no crashes with the 84.21 drivers.Quote:

I was able to play in 1024x768 everything medium-high with medium aa...I'm using the 84.43 drivers
I prefer Peasant's Quest.
I liked the demo. It ran pretty well on my system, though I didn't have the settings very high, I think it was pretty much medium everything. I'll probably pick it up, pretty soon to the release date if I finally buy a new comp like I've been wanting to for months and months.
I like that the enemies drop the kind of thing that they would actually be holding, rather than something like Diablo II where you kill a quill rat and it drops a huge set of plate mail or something.

Pretty sure I'm gonna get it....after what I've seen in the demo. Played a good hour or so but will revisit it again before it's released.
No laggy problems on my good ol' 3 ghz/1 gig mem/x850xt system. I had the resolution and detail cranked pretty good though not near max.
Diablo with some storyline stuff that makes it a bit more than mindless hack 'n slash. I'm a sucker for the Diablo/Sacred genre.
