it will come out in 2039 after 3 thousand delays.pc gaming is going down the tubes,because gamers are sick and tired of delayed games.
They've got some good ideas in the protoss section, should be a real treat once it's ready.

Just...everything has long dev times now. Everything is months or years apart for almost every console, even the Wii which can't be caused by extremely large textures.
that's part of it...instead of taking a picture...fixing it up in photoshop and slapping it on a wall...you have to take that picture...fix it up in photoshop general normal...specular and whatever other maps you want...and that's just the fast and easy way...for really detailed textures it's usually modeled in low and high poly versions to generate a normal mapQuote:

in the case of blizzard they're perfectionists so they'll take however long they need because they're blizzard
Early shots look cool. I have bought a Blizzard game in a long time, maybe that's about to change.
Looks good, though the units seem a little cartoonish for my tastes. The cinematic trailer really gets me going though.

Yes. Nova... I was jsut checking it out on their site! For the original EV I had some plugin that let me have a weapon that was unlimited ammo and did a crazy amount of damage. So I'd go to a planet, demand tribute, they'd deny me and send out there army, and then I'd destroy them with my awesome weapon. That's how I controlled the planets :D

lol... was it the Forklift? Made a truck sound... huge explosion radius (basically a space bomb with guidance and infinite ammo)
There were a ton of those plugs but the Forklift one was actually funny... I think I remember reading it was a reference to some MSK3K thing.
The amazing thing is the EV webboard is still going... they even still had my plug hosted until last year (that I made in like 7th grade lol)
Way hyped about this game. Warcraft and Starcraft (all versions) completey kicked ***. We still play WC3 at the office afterhours sometimes. I can remember countless nights on Bnet playing SC.:)
Heh... SC is pretty timeless... but I have to say since I found DoW I've never even looked back at War3 :)
