You could do what I did and just read up on the Zero series on wikipedia.
i think i would like to play mega man zero then go to zx ... not enough time to play them all
i don't even know how they went from mega man (blue guy) to zero
i just remember mega man was cool when i was little
and zero looks cool
mega man had a arm gun and this zero guy has a sword doesn't he
is it way different game play from original mega man games

The time line follows as such from earliest to latest
Megaman => Megaman X => Megaman Zero => Megaman ZX
animal crossing
My favorite is probably Advance Wars.
My favorites are
Zelda
Club House Games
New Super Mario Bros is my favorite by a very wide margin.
Professor Layton and The Curious Village
from what I have played. I need to try more though, I just havent had the time.

Do people really worry that much about story in Megaman games these days? Outside of the RPGs, I mean (I'm assuming ZX and Zero 4 are side scrollers)? Things have sure changed since last I really played any MM games.Quote:

I liked the Mega Man games on the NES and Mega Man X games on the SNES. After that.. it all went downhill to ME at least.
I'll have to look up some of the games mentioned here though.

Haven't been playing the DS much. But the games I enjoyed the most thus far are:
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
PuzzleQuest
I spent so much time on these two. I couldn't get into the Zelda game.

I would love an RPG based off the ZX series. I could see it easily using something like the Breath of Fire 2 shaman system. That would be all kinds of epic.
