Ultimate Gaming machine

I need your opinions on what would be the ultimate gaming sytem to build. I am going to build it from scratch, so i need to know what case to use and what to put in it and also include keyboard and mouse. I will be using my 40" LED TV for monitor. Thanks in advance. I`m not into water cooling just air.

2 x ATI 5870 (driver issues, consider 2 x nVidia 285s instead)
Corsair 1000W PSU
Patriot Torqx 128GB SSD
WD 2TB HD
X-FI sound card
Lian-Li full tower case
Creative G5 wired mouse
Siatek keyboard

If OC:
add ThermalRight Ultra-120 Extreme and 2 x Antec 3-speed fans

Looks good, will not be ocing. I have windows 7 home premium on the way i pre ordered.

How much memory should i get. Also i will be buying the parts and when i get them all in i will have someone here assemble it for me, sorta hard puting it together myself with the use of one hand.:)

I also have 2 250GB 7200 harddrives i`m going to use for storage. Did i miss anything.

It is not an ultimate Gaming machine if you go with one video card, You need to go SLI at the very least.

OK, add another Asus 5850 and it will be 2100 and then add shipping. I was going to get a Lian Li PC-A71B, but i don`t think that MB will fit in it. Edit: if there are no changes to be made, then i will start ordering it next month.

Maybe, i will change the 2 5850`s to two 5870`s. Naw, i like the low temps of the 5850`s.:cool: Edit: i will keep everyone updated, when i get items in with pictures if possible.

I am getting ready to click the button to buy, so check over my list and tell me if any changes should be made. I am not getting the pioneer Buleray disc burner, because its out of stock and so is the video cards i want. Here is the present list. Looks good! Beware, the Intel G2 latest firmware has a bug and is wiping out Win 7 installs. I still caution you about 2 x 5870s in Cross-Fire, they are still having driver problems making it work. 2 x 285s in SLI makes better sense right now.

I will be using my ATI 4890 for right now, but i might get one 5870 until they fix the problem.

What problem, OS? I have them and they're running very nicely with the games I've been playing....COD4, Crysis, WarHead, COD W@W, STEAM games that I have, UT3, Painkiller Resurrection. Only game giving me some grief is The Witcher Enhanced Ed, I get graphical glitches (black lines on screen) and have sent a feedback report to ATi about this.

Edit - Finally have Crysis and WH running @1920x1200, Very High Spec (Crysis 64bit DX10), Enthusiast (WH DX10) with 4xAA (CCC AA setting at Edge Detect) with FR between 30fps to >60fps.....AWESOME!
