I saw you playing Borderlands this weekend while I was leveling up my new Siren.
Send me a tell if you'd like me to jump into your game and give you a hand.
I'll even start a new toon if you want.

Sure. I've been playing on and off after everyone started talking Borderlands/Borderlands2 again. I was actually playing 2nd playthrough with my Soldier. I started a Siren and a Hunter, but I have done pretty much the initial quest to get into Fyrestone and that's it on them. I have yet to play a berserker.
Would be interesting to play with another person. I've only played single player up until now.
Mobs are harder but the loot is better.
I'm on the second play through on my Siren trying to get better weapons before doing knox on her.
I'm about to do the Sledge Hide Out and all the assorted quests in that area.
I been waiting on finding someone to play with before doing the Claptrap DLC, I was working on it with a good friend of mine but the Army decided it was time for him to go play in the sand box again so we stopped before we had a chance.
I'm installing it on my laptop, just for the off chance of playing it again. 12.5gb..didn't realize it was that big.
I never did get to play the Knoxx or Claptrap DLC. :D
My friends are all assholes and stopped playing when those DLCs came out. :(
I had the lovely Astros Fan see me through Mad Moxxi, but then his disgust of me left me in the dust for Knoxx.
Shoot... I'm STILL playing the main game (started in Feb this year)... My ranger is Lvl. 25... am I even close to the end yet?! LOL...
When you guys play coop, let me know... I'd like to give it a try... but the only thing is I can only at night after 11 pm or so...
Well how are we going to talk to each other in game?
My friend and I used the steam voice chat since the Borderlands chats sucks dead donkey.
EVeryone here has steam so i would suggest that.
Well the Steam chat sucks too... just not as bad lol
That means I'll need to find a usable mic I guess. :P
I'm a relic of the early days of gaming. I have always typed all my comments in. Not as useful in a "real time" situation like the battles in Borderlands.
Time to evolve.
Are we playing some Sharky Borderlands event? WE should set something up.
Me and my friends have a Ventrilo server that is open to all Sharky members. That is my preferred method of voice comms.
I'd love for a SF Borderlands event! I'll be at PAX East this weekend, though, so I hope I don't miss out. XD
1) I would be in for a Sharky BL event.
2) There's a Ventrilo app for android (probably more than one, probably iPhone, too) which I was going to try during minecraft but no one else ever showed up on Kama's server. Might be easier than finding a good mic, if you already have the phone (assuming the app is actually any good).
3) The BL chat really is as bad as Wurm says. Stuff fades off the screen after about 0.3 seconds, and there is no way (AFAIK) to see a history. Not only do you miss what someone says, you miss that they said anything at all.
Lets be straight, the Borderlands online interface is crap. We should use as little of it as possible.
Be sure and go checkout Zpocalypse demo when you are there. It's the left 4 dead type boardgame I'm backing on Kickstarter. They said in their private forums they will have a booth there. Game looks fantastic and I have been pretty active in their backer forums helping flesh out an escape scenario for full coop :)
We could make a regular thing not just an event...
I have the first play through armory on farm status on one of my Rolands BTW so I can bring some goodies to share :D
Kama PM me the vent info please.
James, a working headset is a must while playing a fast paced FPS game in co-op. Typing = getting your head blown off lol
What level are people thinking about? It's a lot more fun if the group is on the same level.
Also, yeah, voice chat is key for these types of games. you can pic up a desk mic from best buy for $12.
I have most of my toons over level 20... but I can start a new one no problem.
I've got a low, mid, and a high.
I have a Lv 42 Hunter and a 23 Soldier.
