Ah, NVidia's just pissed that their wonderful Geforce 2 line takes a nice beating at the hands of the KyroII, given it's rather puny specs compared to the Geforce 2.

Nvidia already accepted that the document was real, just that it wasn´t supposed to be for public viewings.
Hey guys .... huh how many video card companies are their now... Nvidia, ATI, and Matrox and matrox doesnt make gaming video cards anyways. As a long standing nvidia user who has switch to the radeon (i love it) i nearly did get the geforce 2 but i felt in more of an "image quality mood" on the day of the purchase : ) anyway point aside nvidia has been acting cocky of late,actually it started with xbox but there's been no turning back since then, acting like intel is going to cost them another customer, me. GeForce 3 looks great but if they want to be jackasses i just won't buy their product, that's me.
The head people at Nvidia have problems... and if they dont pull their head out of their asses a future card like Kyro is going to take the Crown away, "what goes around comes around" and I'm afraid that Nvidia is gonna get it! Great article on The Register. NVIDIA's obviously scared that the Kyro II's going to eat into their GF2 MX line big time, or they wouldn't bother coming up with all that anti-Kyro crap. They must be pissed - they finally take down 3dfx after two years of fierce competition, give themselves a pat on the back, and PowerVR suddenly stages a comeback!
After reading that, I'd pick a Kyro II over a GF2 MX or Radeon 32MB any day. Hell, it even gives the GF2 GTS and Radeon 64MB a run for their money, and it's cheaper than both.
But whatever you read, it's no match for a GF2 Pro or Ultra right across the board - only in specific games and resolutions.
I've got a Voodoo 5 AGP 64MB at the moment, and Kyro II doesn't beat it by that much, so I'll wait for a while and see what ATI comes out with. My view is that the best way to appreciate a video card upgrade, is to get one that can give you twice the FPS at the same resolution as the one you had before, and hopefully gives you better image quality - that way you really notice the difference.
It was probably actually made by the Kyro people so that even more people would hate nVidia. Would make for nice reverse psychology.
