Hi i want to buy a new Monitor and to trow the Aoc 19" wich i hawe now for a better quality 17" like this one .
I see this Monitor and it has very nice picture quality , a 0.20 mm superfine pitch and hawe the screen Dyna/flat.
The price for the thing is 163 $ Usd .
Is worthit or not ?

i have the 753 df and its ok
the refresh ain't that great and the dot pitch is acually 0.27
the price is a bit high
a better monitor is the samsung 700nf, that is one of the best 17in mons
On the papers is writed Dot Ptch 20 and on the Mopnitor stiker also ?
How do you know that is 27 ?

Dot pitch is measured diagonally, resulting in a higher number. Furthermore, dot pitch cannot be compared directly between shadow mask and aperture grill monitors.
753df is an outstsanding montior, and the price can't be beat. Trust me you'll love it, I have one and it is perfectly flat. And it doesn't have a .27 Dot Pitch like someone was saying it's .20. Get it, really nice.
i have the 753df imo it's awesome! i got it when it was on sale at bestbuy for like $160. the only thing i don't like is that it can only do 1280x1024 at 60hz, but most 17 inch can't anyways https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/6.gif.

Sorry dude...it is really a .27 dot pitch. The .20 dot pitch is Horzontal Dot Pitch. I used to own this monitor and the manual clearly states in the spec's that it is a .27 dot pitch. I guess they list the .20 dot pitch as a marketing gimic for the people that don't really know much about monitors. It's just too good to be true if it really had a .20 dot pitch...and at this price.Quote:

your right it is a .27 dot pitch. the samsung 755DF is the one with .20 dot pitch. i would get the 755DF cause it can go to a higher res. 1600*1200 max @ 65Hz and 1280*1024 @ 75!!! i like this monitor great picture and i have had no problems with it.

i just realized that the samsung monitor i have on one of my families comps is a 753DF, and mabye the reason i havent noticed is because its not really that good!!
the DynaFlat (DF) series of monitors really arent that outstanding, i suggest going with the NaturalFlat (NF)series , specifically the 700NF which is a true high quality monitor
plus, the 753DF has a rather pathetic max resolution of 1280x1024 and the refresh rate isnt great either

Well I like it a lot and it is a lot better than any other 17' I had seen in best buy. Pathectic resolution 1280x1024 ***!!!! Who the hell needs to go higher than that, unless you like squinting. Look I guess everyone on these boards has been spoiled by sony 21' inch montiors, but do yourself a favor and get the 753df and save some money and get a nice montior.

You are right guys the Horizontal pitch is 20 and the dot pitch is 27 .
Anyway for this price it looks nice to me and i use in games only 1024/786 res so for me is enough .
I agreed that is not a Wiewsonic but for the price is a very good monitor .

I've thought of getting the 19" but it's just too big for where I put my computer. I agree with you that it is really worth it's price but in terms of picture quality and res. it doesn't match up to the NF series. To me, the picture quality is very important.Quote:

but regarding TimisoaraKill's buy, i think the 753DF is a good value aside from the resolution limitation, which really isnt a factor considering the size of the monitor, so hope you enjoy it once you tweak it out to get the best picture quality https://www.sharkyforums.com/images/.../2005/06/5.gif

The 757df can do 75 hz at 1600*1200
