I don't frequent this forum a lot, but it seems that almost every time I come into the General Software section there is at least one post about how to get rid of spyware. I vote that we start a...

Another vote for Ad-Aware + Spybot.
You can also get Zone Alarm and Proxomitron. They can help spyware from even getting on your system in the first place, but you'll need Ad-Aware and Spybot to...

Funny...I still remember when the first 1GHz processors from AMD and Intel were BOTH over $1000  In fact I think that the AMD 1GHz T-Bird was something like $1200 or more at one time!!! Anyway,...

LOL, I guess that's a good answer. For some reason I just find it funny that you have the google toolbar and have google as your homepage.

Yes, it was mainly the lab tech that got the system all screwed up, so I can't direclt fault Apple for that, but that still doesn't fix the fact that the G4 was soooo sloooow. Granted, like you said,...

I honestly can't vouch for the G5, but when I was in school (Computer Graphic Arts major) we had a whole lab of brand new dual G4's running OS X. I mainly ran Flash MX, PS, and Illustrator on them. I...

I found that www.dvdrhelp.com is a great website for this kind of information. DVD-R is supported by slightly more DVD players than DVD+R, but other than that DVD+R has lossless linking and both CAV...
