I have heard that using this setup (a cordless phone and wireless router at 2.4ghz) causes interference on the phone and/or problems with the router.

not sure exactly what winlog.exe is/does, but the error you are getting is because that file is on your start-up list and has been moved from the location it was in and windows is unable to find it...

me too. IMO 2 sticks is better than 1 as I personally have had 1 stick of 2 go bad and had I not had 2 sticks my computer would have been down until I got that stick replaced from Crucial.

I installed ZA when my computers were shutting down but now I cant share files on my home network. I set the trusted sites to medium, even turned the firewall off my trusted sites and it doesnt work....

I installed ZA, installed the patch, installed all windows updates, seems fixed. Someone else posted they installed the patch first and it didnt work.

btw, the generic host processes I think are ok to allow. Not sure what they are but I remember hearing/reading thats part of xp and its ok to allow.

its the msblast.exe I think. If you ctrl-alt-delete it will be in the list of processes. End the process then apply the patch, run windows update. Seems to be fixed on my end.
