Woo Boy Fun With Leaky Watercooling.

good news: my homebrewed watercooled kit still works

bad news: there's a leak. several, actually.

    good news: system still boots

bad news: geforce3 and santa cruz don't seem to have taken being waterlogged well.

hmm... i take it back. santa cruz still seems to work decently.

i guess the geforce3 just has to dry out some more; it's gone through this before (well, not with water, mostly just overuse of isopropyl alcohol).

it looks like the vinyl tubing was too old and stretched and didn't seal the connection to the waterblock, so it leaked all over my video card and sound card.

luckily the system wasn't on when i was testing it out. my geforce3 and santa cruz seem to have survived.

i'm just counting mah lucky stars right now... phew!

awww damn that's scary man. be thankful that it didn't fry your system!
lesson learned: test out the setup before running it with your system!
good to hear that your stuff's still ok though
