    Clearly you guys don't know what you're talking about. Of coure you don't have the compatibility of a PC with a Mac, but Macs are still way ahead of PCs.

    PS: Half of these quotes are not funny and the other half is not true.

    Hehe. Well I've own a Mac a few years ago and I can say it was a great machine for it's time and it crashed infinitely less(0 times) in games then the PCs I had. My answer was mostly to Bloodred who apparently, has not much to say.

    hey i thought they were considering an amd platform!!
    in any case i have used a mac and i think it sucks big time, the bloody chess game always froze on me in jaguar..always had to use force quit

    And no MAC fans, Photoshop is not a game. Also, everyone talks about how great they are for Photoshop, yet many desktop processors handle the best Apple has to offer in Photoshop stuff. If you like making mistakes, go with the Mac.

    anyways, if you still think macs are better then pc's in this day and age, well then you REALLY are out of it.

    MACS PROS AND CONS

    Cons:
    -You will have a computer that looks like sh*t
    -You will spend twice as much money for half the speed
    -You wont be able to install... well, ANYTHING
    -Your mouse will only have one button... (i mean, wt f?)

    Pros:
    -You will think that your computer looks cool, while everyone else laughs and points at you (so much for being a pro...)

    I used to work for the NYC Board of Education and as everyone knows that education is majority apple products...

    Well, I havent used the new OS 10 and up, but the older OS sucked! You got to love the system bombs and they dont even tell you what exactly happened. It will just be a number that you need to download a program that will tell you what happened.. Which 9 times out of 10 is just as vague.

    Also I beta tested OS 9.0 prior to release. I had submitted over a 5 page bug report.. And all they gave me was a copy of the final version and a basket of apples for xmas... Sucks!

    Also... The old statement about MAC being better then a PC is about 3 years old. The newer P4 outperform the MAC when it comes to photoshop

    Granted it takes a 3.0Ghz processor but it was compared to Appls dual processor setup.. So single to dual is not exactly fair but the PC wins..

    Ok, now lets talk about the software support??? What software????

    Hardware: 2-3x the price then PC. hmmm

    So what would you get???

    The only thing that's almost true about what you said is that it cost twice as much. You are pathetic.

    By the way, there are 2 reasons why I would'nt buy a Mac. First, there are not enough games available and second, it's too expensive.
