    Question about DirectX 9.0 and my MSI TI 4200

    I have the latest Tomb Raider game, and i have the latest DirectX 9 drivers, but my MSI TI 4200 cards specs say DirectX 8.1 and lower compatible. This game requires a direct 9. compatible graphics card. Is there any way to still play it? Or is it already time to upgrade, damn i just bought this card a year ago.

    Ditto that. Your game will run as long as you have DirectX 9.0 or higher installed. It just means that your video card won't support 9.0 features.

    I have the same card and I installed direct x 9 and it works great. Just download it and you should be fine.
