Great cpu, it's a T'bred so it's quite oc'able. You'd want an nForce2 board, I'm not familiar with the other brands, but why haven't you included Epox and Abit btw? Just about everybody uses an Epox in SF, I use the NF7-Srev2.0, started with the rev1.0, liked it, and now I'm using the rev2.0, IMO, it's great and really helps with my oc'ing efforts. Check out the pcstats site, they had a nForce2 mobo roundup recently. (they did not review my board though )

I have this one : MSI K7M2 Delta-Lw/ Dual DDR 400. Audio, Lan
well i think cause mine is k7N2
it has the nforce2 chipset with dual ddr support

beware of the cheaper ASUS boards, like the

    A7N8X-X

it has also nforce2 buth only has support for single channel ddr

remember: double is better then single

I don't think you can go wrong with an nforce chipset based motherboard

The A7N8X Deluxe is the best board you have listed. It is also the most expensive and the most tempramental.

Although the MSI K7M is an Nforce board, the KT4 is a better board. It's true many sf members are Nvidia fans , but unless you're one of those guys that sits around running benchmarks all day, you won't notice a difference. I've never met anyone that could SEE the difference 3-5fps makes. Go with the most reputable manufacturer that builds a board with the most features you want within the cash range you deem reasonable, and you can't make a wrong choice.

I have the MSI KT4 Ultra-FISR. I love it it works great, but I think that the nforce2 chipset has better audio and runs better. So I would go with any of the MSI or ASUS nforce2 boards.

    Lightbulb

I would take an Abit NF7-S REV 2.0 over an MSI (or Asus) board any day.
But hey - that's just me...

Try to get a board that has the nvidia soundstorm audio
(only on nforce2 boards). Its worth the extra money(cause you won't need to get a soundcard). The Abit NF7 has it.So do some of the asus boards but i'm not sure about the others.
