counter strike short cut
hi
can someone please tell me the .exe file and paramters for the counterstrike shortcut?
i think its hl.exe -console -cstrike but im not 100% certain

i believe its something like "-console -game cstrike" on the end of the halflife exe.

As a side note add -numericping onto your parameters to replace the green dots with a latency figure that tells you how fast the server is responding. It's more accurate than a crappy green dot to represent a range between 100 and 175 ms .

When i try to open it like that and try to join a game, it says "Can't play custom game cstrike until it's installed"...or something like that. Though if i open it the manual way i can play it fine. What gives?
