    FastWrite + AGPx8 wont work

    I have a Gigabyte KT400 motherboard (Gigabyte GA-7VAXP). On the box it says it supports AGPx8 and DDR400. Now I got a Gigebyte Radeon 9800 pro 128MB.

    Here's the problem. Fast Write and AGPx8 won't work! It's stuck on Fast Write off and AGPx4! WHAT'S GOING ON?! I checked BIOS and toyed around, reinstalled a bunch of stuff, etc.

    Does anybody have any info on this? Is this a common problem?

    I heard there is some way to turn fast write on/off in the BIOS but I cant find it.

    You might try reinstalling your 4in1`s and if that don`t help make sure in dxdiag. under display that everything is enabled.
