    homepage of choice?

sort of a random thought but i was wondering what most of you guys were using as the "homepage" your internet browser is set to when you open it up.

i'm using yahoo's personalized "my yahoo" homepage but was wondering if there was a better site with web search and news...

I just use Yahoo! for my main homepage. It mainly has a little bit of everything and is pretty good. I really like it.

Google's Advanced Search. It loads damn near instantly, there are no annoying ads, and it can get me pretty much anywhere I might need to go.

Why not just get the google tool bar? It blocks pop-ups really well and then you don't have to ever type in the google url to do a search. Just enter the search in the little box under the url bar.

LOL, I guess that's a good answer. For some reason I just find it funny that you have the google toolbar and have google as your homepage.

i guess it is kinda weird, but i like using the webpage for searching over the toolbar, i guess i am just used to it. i mainly use the toolbar for popup blockers, however, recently a couple popups have slid by. i do use the google toolbar on occasion, but usually when i want to do a google search i like doing it in a new window.

My homepage is my.yahoo.com - all personalized with weather, sports scores, news, mail, comics, etc. Well worth the 15 minutes it took to design.
