    Question Windows Clock Running LATE!

This is about the third time i've had to fix my desktop clock. It seems to be falling behind every now and then. I dont run anything overly strenuous on my laptop. Its a :

    2.8GHZ
    768 RAM

I think I read something a while back that if your clock keeps going off its a sign somethings wrong with the processor. I could be wrong. Let me know.
    Thanks

You might need to get another CMOS battery for your motherboard.

Laptops keep time poorly. Most domains reset the time with each log on. Without a domain to log into, you'll have to set it up to sync with a time server on the web.

In my experience it really is most likely to be the CMOS battery giving up.

You don't know how long that laptop has been just sitting in a warehouse waiting for you to buy it.

True that motherboard could have been sitting around for quite awhile.
