    Thumbs up New heatsink

Well, i just installed my 800a with AS3 and my load temps are much better than they were with my volcano 9 with AS3, with smart fan 2 at about 4000 RPM's for both (around 48-50c as opposed to 57c with the volcano). Very cool.

Your temps should be much lower than that yet... i would say you are doing something wrong when putting that thing on. My temps at over 2400mhz with 2.1v on the cpu never break 45c and that is with a smartfan II and an slk-900a (not much different from 800).

Well how fast are you running your fan? I'm not running full speed, and when i posted that i had just put it on, we'll see if the temps lower any.

my fan is full speed, but that is only 1100 rpm more than what you are running at... which shouldnt make THAT much of a difference.

If your case temperature is 28c and your CPU temperature is 33c you have great temps.
