Fugger over at Extreme systems is benching a 3.2 EE and a 9800 XT. He scored 25K with almost no OC on the VC and running the EE at 4.3. His car and lobby scores are unbelievable and better than any FX by far. If the 9800XT OC's really well we will see 28K in the next day or so. Yeah, GO INTEL!!! I can't wait to own this chip

This article seems to put to bed any doubt that the EE is going to be released and isn't just a paper launch. Plus I am seeing more reviewers getting chips to play with.

unfortunantly, i've heard that 9800XT's don't OC well, so he may not get what he needs...

If he Vmods it and gets a lowly 550/415 out of it he will be doing great...The extra speed on the memory is going to be key. This guy is a pro and will be able to make things happen.

Just a matter of time with the crew over there. I've know there are a few people waiting in line for those EE's that will definately hit it if Fugger doesn't.

he still has much tweaking, esp on car chase low details. also I hope he gets over 550/430 clocks, ideally 600/450 since this is an XT. He will need a very, very high clock on the video side to hit 28k

I am really liking the chances of that card at 550/430. OPPAINTER with his card at 587/411 got his great score. Looking at the orb it seems as if 430 on the memory is very attainable. 550 is a low est with volt mods on the core, but let's say because the core of the XT doesn't OC well that's all he is going to get 500. the 21 Mhz gain on the memory should do very well at offsetting the loss on the core. Also clock for clock the XT seems to put out better numbers. I really think he is going to do it. Right now this is all just speculation and rumors, but to me things are looking good.

The wild card would also be the fact fugger has a 9800 pro that clocks at 566/424 and he could use that as a backup and go for the gold. It's going to be an exciting week to say the least

I have been saying it all along, the P4EE is going to be a force in the months to come. Remember, this chip will be released at 3.4 and 3.6 Ghz. Let's just imagine what a P4EE is gonna do at say 4.8 Ghz

I wonder how a 939 FX would do...I'm sure Fugger will have 28k broken soon.

Gotta admit, I'm more excited about my own 21k score then him breaking 28k though lol.

wow ranger was right! well still 12 hours left for Fugger to get those last few marks to 28k, even if he does not, I can not argue as it is mighty close on the dot! Do you think 30k will fall at end of December? I was thinking yes but youd need a p4 ee at near 5GHz for that or an a64 at over 3GHz and possibly hit 600/430+ speeds on a 9800 pro or XT. It may not be till the r420 do we see 30k+ happening. I can see fugger has done great improvements in car chase low, but still a bit behind to opp. his nature is very decent for his core clocks but his dragothic scores are 10fps behind. If he had opps card he could easily push around 28.5k

28k is reasonable by then end of the year, although I'll be a lot happier if it was reached by AMD first
