I wouldn't. Your CPU is plenty fast and probably beats the P-4 3.0C is some things unless you are planning on overclocking the 3.0C a lots

What I would recommand is to get a Barton 2500+ and overclock it to 2.4-2.5Ghz (most do that easy) and then you'll be owning that P-4 like crazy!! Trust me, I own one. Just need to work on my FSB...

nothing comes close to a p4c chip, but i agree your computer is plenty fast, and the difference wont be that big in games. now if your into sound/video editing or graphic design, the p4c will blow away the athlon.

Keep your current system How about overclocking some more? I know the 2800+ can hit 2.4ghz on stock air cooling ... mine is running at 2.4ghz right now but I know with my Vapochill I should hit 2.6ghz when I continue overclocking.

But if he sells it for ~$100ish and get a Barton 2500+ for $90 he'll be able to overclock it to like 2.5Ghz which is equal to like 2.65Ghz-2.7Ghz for T-Breds I believe in some applications.

I can reach 2500 Mhz with my 2800 chip, the problem is my board wont go over 1.8 voltage, anything higher than 2300 Mhz needs more voltage on my board......

    3.0 P4C

I'm bored... so I actually went through an old review...

    http://www.anandtech.com/cpu/showdoc.html?i=1834&p=1

A 2.2 GHz 400 MHz FSB Barton vs P4Cs is:
    Pg 7: < 2.6C
    Pg 8: < 2.8C
    Pg 9: < 2.6C
    Pg 10: < 2.4C
    Pg 11: < 2.4C
    Pg 12: < 3.2

I'm guessing your cpu, .1 GHz faster than the reviewed barton, is slower than the 3.0 P4C, which is .6-.2 GHz faster than the ones listed above.

The only caveat is this is an old review.
    Stay cool
and be somebody's fool this year
