Room mate's case and a roll of duct tape = the 20 minute mod
My room mate went home this weekend and left his computer up here all alone. Not letting a good oppertunity like this go to waste, I promptly got out my handy, dandy roll of duct tape. Twenty minutes later this is the result. Granted, it isn't the best job, but it looks pretty sweet. (oh yeah, the images will load kinda slow, be patient)

(And before you think that I am a complete jackass, he already ordered another case to finally replace this old compaq one.)

So, basically what you did was put duct tape on his case... doesn't impress me at all.

It was just some fun. Thought you guys might be interested in seeing it.

HOLY Crap, you have just found another use for Duct Tape. That makes how many uses now 1,000,001!! It looks like it was for fun and a great way to waste some time. This case was probably butt ugly before you put tape on it so I see no harm done, in fact its probably an improvement. LOL.. BTW Nice PICS, must have anice little digi camara!!

This is what the case looked like before hand. I think it is from around 2000.
Oh yeah, and the idea behind it was to give him a "brushed aluminum" case. ;-)

interesting...i never thought i'd see duct tape on a case like that. Doesn't that cover ventilation holes, though? I suppose you won't overclock a compaq anyway.
